Advanced general health package

Extended Health Laboratory Check

1. Package name and overview

Twenty-two listed tests assessing blood counts, glucose and lipid metabolism, liver and kidney indicators, thyroid markers, urine findings and selected infectious-disease markers.

Tests listed: 22.

2. What each test measures

  • •Quantitative Glucose (Blood) — Measures blood glucose at the time of collection; it is used in diabetes assessment or monitoring in the appropriate context.
  • •Quantitative HbA1c — Estimates average blood glucose exposure over roughly the preceding 2–3 months; certain blood conditions may affect accuracy.
  • •AST Activity — AST is an enzyme found in the liver and other tissues. A rise can occur with liver injury, muscle injury or other causes, so it is assessed with other results.
  • •ALT Activity — ALT is an enzyme used to assess possible liver-cell injury; a high result does not identify the cause on its own.
  • •GGT Activity — GGT is an enzyme associated with the liver and biliary system. It helps interpret other liver enzyme changes but is not disease-specific.
  • •Total Cholesterol — Measures total blood cholesterol and contributes to assessment of cardiovascular risk alongside other factors.
  • •Triglycerides — Measures a type of circulating fat; concentrations are affected by eating, alcohol and metabolic health.
  • •Hdl-cholesterol — Measures HDL cholesterol, interpreted together with the full lipid profile and other cardiovascular risk factors.
  • •LDL-Cholesterol — Measures LDL cholesterol, an important factor in assessing atherosclerotic cardiovascular risk.
  • •Quantitative Uric Acid — Measures uric acid, relevant to gout assessment and some metabolic or kidney concerns.
  • •Complete Blood Count (26 parameters, laser counter) — Measures red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and related indices; it can help identify patterns associated with anaemia, infection or blood disorders.
  • •Ion đồ (Na+, K+, Cl-) — Measures sodium, potassium and chloride, which help regulate body fluids and neuromuscular activity.
  • •FT3 — Measures free triiodothyronine, a thyroid hormone that may assist thyroid assessment in selected situations.
  • •FT4 Quantification — Measures free thyroxine, interpreted with TSH to evaluate thyroid function.
  • •TSH Quantification — Measures thyroid-stimulating hormone, often the starting marker for evaluating thyroid function.
  • •HBsAb — Measures antibodies to hepatitis B surface antigen, used to assess immune response in the proper clinical context.
  • •Anti-HCV — Detects antibodies to hepatitis C virus. A positive result requires follow-up testing to determine current infection.
  • •HBsAg — Detects hepatitis B surface antigen, a marker associated with current hepatitis B infection; follow-up may be needed.
  • •Quantitative Urea — Measures urea, influenced by kidney function, hydration and protein metabolism.
  • •Quantitative Creatinine — Measures creatinine, used with age and other information to evaluate kidney filtration.
  • •Alkaline Phophatase( Phosphatase kiềm/ PK) 1 — Measures alkaline phosphatase, an enzyme linked mainly with bile ducts and bone; other results help identify the source.
  • •Urinalysis( semi-automated method) — Screens selected urine parameters; results must be interpreted with symptoms and may require additional tests.

3. Who this package is suitable for

Adults who need a broader set of laboratory measures, especially when advised based on risk factors, symptoms or previous results.

4. How to prepare

An 8–12-hour fast may be requested for glucose and lipids. A urine sample is included; ask for collection instructions. Report thyroid medicines and biotin supplements, which can affect some hormone results.
